1. Account deletion request
You can request deletion of your GymPT account and the personal data linked to it through the app or support channels. After the request is submitted, GymPT records it as a deletion request so an authorized admin can review and approve the workflow.
2. What is deleted
When the request is approved, GymPT deletes or anonymizes account identifiers, profile details, onboarding answers, body analysis data, uploaded media records, AI usage records, programs, workouts, reminders, notifications, verification records, session/API keys, and other content records linked to the account in GymPT systems.
3. Deletion report
After completion, GymPT sends a deletion report to the email address linked to the request where technically possible. The report summarizes the data categories processed and does not include sensitive raw content such as body images, prompts, workout details, or health notes.
4. Retention and legal exceptions
Some minimal records may be retained or anonymized where required for accounting, fraud prevention, payment disputes, security logs, consent evidence, legal claims, app store obligations, or mandatory law. These retained records are limited to what is necessary and are separated from active product use wherever possible.
5. After deletion
Deleted accounts cannot be restored from the app. Some cached copies, backups, or provider-side logs may expire according to backup and infrastructure cycles. If you create a new account later, it starts as a separate account unless the law or platform rules require otherwise.
